Spiritual Formation & Enrichment
Program Overview
The CCI Spiritual Formation & Enrichment Program is composed of specific topics to explore. These workshops offer learning experiences that promote biblical understanding, spiritual growth, and personal application without requiring enrollment in a full Certificate of Completion Program. Requirements are limited to attendance and, for some workshops, a book. This section will continue to develop because the possibilities are ongoing. This means we will develop additional workshops as opportunities arise.
Workshop Structure
Workshops are offered in person at a designated location or online. The instructor or facilitator will establish each workshop’s schedule and time commitment based on its topic and format. We welcome your input. Email us at: citycarechap@gmail.com to suggest a topic of interest.

Workshops
- You Are Adopted — An eight-week workshop that meets for one hour each week. Each session covers two devotionals per week and includes interactive questions. The course is based on the book, Divine Adoption.
- The Ebb & Flow of Valley Walking — An eight-week workshop that meets for one hour each week. Using the eight-chapter book Valley Walking, participants explore one chapter per session and discuss its interactive questions.
- Understanding Emotionality — An eight-week workshop that meets for 90 minutes each week and explores the eight-chapter book Understanding Emotionality: A Theology of Emotion.
