Worship Matters
One thing I have desired of the LORD; that will I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple (Psalms 27:4).
David says, one thing I have desired, (I am honestly, earnestly) seeking. When we get to a place where we are honest and earnestly desiring to dwell in God’s presence all the days of our life, all the halfway, lukewarm head worship ends!
Only one thing matters.
Only one design and desire matter: to worship.
In the presence of God’s beauty and holiness.
Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!
Tremble before Him, all the earth (Psalms 96:9).
When was the last time you heard of such worship, where people tremble before God!
Much of our church worship today is like a jam session! Perhaps we need to check our hearts.
