Confidence in God

But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; the Lord will hear when I call to Him (Psalms 4:3).

David’s assurance of God’s providence, love and salvation.

First, God Himself has set apart for Himself him who is godly.

Secondly, David was absolutely confident that the author of his salvation would hear his call for help.

David had a personal relationship with the God of Israel. David knew both God’s correction and, more importantly, God’s unfailing love and tenderness to those who put their hope in him.

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles (Psalms 34:17).

l love the Lord because He has heard my voice and my supplications (Psalms 116:1-2 ).

Life is full of troubles and challenges. Call on the Name of the Lord, He hears, He cares, He will answer!
