For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
A well-known and beloved scripture.
Love is always sacrificial, always does what is best for the person being loved.
God's love...gave His only Son, as a sacrifice, once for all.
So that anyone who believes in Jesus would have everlasting life.
