Humble Boasting

My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear

of it and be glad (Psalms 34:2).

“My soul,” personal testimony of the goodness and faithfulness of the Living God!

“Shall boast” not like the world boasts of one’s achievements… worldly and passing away. To boast in the Lord is to testify of His goodness. His faithfulness and His delivering hand. Making your boast in God is a display of your trust, dependency, and joy in your God.

Those who know God’s ways recognize true humility, meekness, and gentleness…and it gladdens their hearts with joy and fellowship in our God.
