Goodness and mercy

Know that the Lord, Hebrew, Jehovah, the supreme, the everlasting God, whose favor is an infinite blessing, and whose wrath is a boundless evil; hath set apart — Hath chosen; to himself— And taken under his peculiar care and protection; him that is godly— the man that truly fears, lives, and serves him (Psalms 4:3 Amplified).

Psalms 4:3 NKJV But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The Lord will hear when I call to Him.

David knew that God had chosen, separated to Himself, those who love His name, fear His power, and live to Him as He provides grace to do so!

God is not a legalist, He knows our humanity, give him what you have today, wait on His mercy, goodness and guidance!
